Tata Pixel
EuropeanTata Motors have recently launched a new and superb
city car model called the Tata Pixel. The name is naturally
due to its compact size and build. Tata Motors has claims
that the Tata Pixel is the most "package efficient four
seater in the world."

This innovative design is specially tailoring to European
roads and driving conditions in general. Their roads are small
and narrow, and parking can take hours to find. The design
of the Tata Pixel is built to conserve parking space and increase
the exit and entrance comfort of the passengers and the driver
as well. The revolutionary design of the Tata Pixel defines
the future of transportation.
In addition to conserving space the Tata Pixel is also built
with a fuel sipping 3-cylinder 1.2 liter turbocharged diesel
engine (near the rear of the vehicle) with low total carbon
emissions. While driving on the road the Tata Pixel gets an
impressive 70 mpg and only emits 60 grams of carbon per mile.
With the world economy in stilts, this new form of transportation
provides a significant saving option, with regards to refraining
from consuming large energy amounts and contributing to even
larger carbon emissions. The Tata Pixel provides the perfect
transportation tool which is specifically aimed at targeting
some necessary environmental issues.
The car is equipped with additional features such as stop
and start technology, intelligent battery charging, low rolling
resistant tires, an optimized aerodynamic drag. A unique aspect
of the Tata Pixel design is its' 'scissor' doors which automatically
lift upwards upon open, giving the impression that the car
has wings to distant observers. This helps make getting out
of the car in difficult spaces much more achievable.
The Tata Pixel also introduces the first internal machine
interface, able to connect to any Smartphone and access the
entertainment systems available through a connection portal.
This allows for the car to share the entertainment system
available at ones home without any issues.
This interface is called 'My Tata Connect' and provides the
option of switching from home entertainment to vehicle features,
and other related issues as well. The touch screen acts as
a central information display, as well as a touch screen control
device, through the use of which, all aspect and features
of the vehicle may be easily accessed, changed and controlled.
Finally, the Tata Pixel is equipped with the features of
Zero Flip and Infinitely Variable Transmission or IVT. These
features basically enable the vehicle to perform multiple
wheel rotations in a controlled manner, in order to become
able to maneuver around the most constricted of spaces, while
on low velocity mode. The key of the car's movements relies
in the car's ability rotate its rear wheels individually,
one forward and one backwards, while keeping the entrance
wheels at acute angles, in order to further agile internal
movement and thus cut corners or bypass any external obstacles.
